At Hanson Opticians, we see ourselvves as part of the local community. Caroline gives talks to local schools and we welcome visits from local groups.

Rainbows visit

In October we were delighted to welcome Mirfield Rainbows to the practice.

The girls had a great time learning all about eyes and looking at the consulting room equipment and finding out what it all does. They had a "design your own specs" competition and came up with some fabulous designs. 

We always welcome community groups to visit. If you are interested, please contact the practice.

 We are very pleased that this year we had a stall at Mirfield show.It was good to see so many familiar faces and we had lots of visitors to our stand. We held a Guess the celebrity specs competition to win a pair of sunnies and a kids lucky dip with proceeds going to the Dewsbury and District society for the blind. Mirfield show is always a great day out and despite the rain we had a fabulous day!
